Job summary

Power Electronics in Maryborough invites an Electrician to join our team on a full-time basis. You will work on cutting-edge renewable energy inverters and related gear, with door-to-door travel provided, and be part of a global engineering leader delivering major energy projects across Australia and worldwide.

Qualifications

• Holding a current Electrical Licence and Drivers Licence.
• Strong electrical knowledge, hands-on skills, and problem solving.
• Ability to read manuals, drawings, and specifications.
• Customer focus with delivery and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning, testing, and programming inverters on site and remotely.
• Troubleshooting and repair of inverters and related equipment.
• Maintenance of electrical installations.
• Site attendance to advise on installations.
• Follow codes and standards governing electrical installations and maintenance.
• Read manuals/drawings/specs, and communicate clearly.
• Perform some administrative tasks.
• Maintain safety focus.

This is a full-time, ongoing role offering stability, growth and the chance to be part of a global engineering leader.

It's a 38-hour week, Monday to Friday and we've got you covered with door-to-door travel.

Your duties will include:

• Commissioning, testing, and programming inverters on site and remotely.
• Troubleshooting and repair of inverters and associated equipment.
• Maintenance of electrical installations.
• Attendance at site to advise on installations.
• Commitment to following relevant codes and industry standards which govern electrical installations and maintenance.
• Demonstrated aptitude with electrical and mechanical tools.
• Ability to read manuals, drawings, and specifications to ensure correct operation of equipment.
• Ability to follow written information and instructions and communicate and correspond clearly and concisely.
• Some administration.
• Staying safety focused when performing all tasks.

To besuccessful in this role youwill have:

• A current Electrical Licence.
• Current Drivers Licence.
• The ability to work as part of a team.
• Strong electrical knowledge and aptitude, hands-on skills, and good problem-solving ability.
• A customer focus and commitment to delivery while being flexible and attentive to customers' needs.
• AC Drives/Inverter Experience would be an advantage.
