Job summary

Magic Door Industries (QLD) Pty Ltd in Mansfield, QLD is seeking an Electrical Service Technician to diagnose faults, install and maintain automation products at customer sites. You must hold a Queensland Electrical Licence and have at least 2 years in a service role.

Training will be provided and you may be required to participate in after-hours roster. The role offers a competitive hourly rate negotiable with experience.

Qualifications

• Current Queensland Electrical Licence.
• A minimum 2 years experience in a similar service role.
• Experience with automation systems, electronics, and mechanical assemblies highly desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams and an understanding of circuits.
• High attention to detail and takes pride in quality of work.
• Professional with great communication skills and an ability to build rapport with clients.
• Be a team player and a customer service champion.

Responsibilities

• Examining and testing equipment to diagnose faults.
• Adjusting, repairing, and replacing worn and defective parts and maintaining equipment.
• Advising users of correct operating procedures to prevent malfunctions.
• Installing small motors and control systems.
• Applying knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical, equipment in commissioning and maintaining systems.
• Participate in our after hours roster.

As an Electrical Service Technician, you will carry out service work, troubleshooting, repairs and installations of our products in our customers premises

Applicants with or the ability to obtain a Queensland Contractors Licence will be looked on favorably

Full training and course fees will be provided.
