TBG is a specialist provider across Queensland’s transport and energy networks, focusing on rail systems and power distribution, electrical and HVAC services.

Due to the increase in the delivery of Commercial & Industrial electrical projects, TBG is now looking for an Electrical Project Manager.

Please Note: this is not FIFO or DIDO positions. Candidates must be willing to relocate to Rockhampton Region.

The successful candidates will need to provide a current CV detailing previous experience working on Commercial & Industrial electrical projects.

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervise on-site electrical teams and subcontractors.
2. Plan and manage multiple electrical projects simultaneously.
3. Ensure compliance with safety codes, electrical standards, and local regulations.
4. Review drawings and technical diagrams.
5. Coordinate material procurement and manage inventory.
6. Interface with clients, inspectors, general contractors, and suppliers.
7. Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
8. Prepare project documentation including estimates, schedules, reports, and change orders.
9. Conduct site inspections and enforce company safety standards.

Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in Commercial & Industrial electrical projects.
• Experience managing budgets and commercial contracts.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage projects and prioritise tasks effectively.
• Able to read and interpret drawings and specifications.

Qualifications:

• Required:
• 5+ years of electrical experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or project management role.
• Strong understanding of AS3000 standards.
• Proven ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite.
• HVAC qualifications and/or experience.
