Job summary

Heat and Control, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager (Projects) to lead a team of Electrical Project Engineers responsible for delivering green and brownfield projects from sales handover to installation and commissioning.

The role requires a degree in Electrical Engineering, RPEQ/CPEng accreditation, and hands-on experience with Siemens and Allen-Bradley PLCs in automation design. You will manage end-to-end electrical project delivery and collaborate across multiple functions.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering.
RPEQ and CPEng accreditation.
Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC/control systems experience essential.
Prior automation design experience and experience leading a team of electrical engineers delivering control systems.

Responsibilities

Lead planning and conduct of engineering activities and provide technical leadership to the electrical project engineering team.
Manage the electrical project lifecycle from design to installation and commissioning.
Ensure engineering products and activities meet approved procedures, budgets, and quality standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, project management, fabrication, and commissioning.
Identify risks, develop mitigation plans, and drive continuous improvement within the team.
