Job summary

Rinnai in Braeside seeks an Electrical Maintenance Technician to keep our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility running smoothly. You will diagnose faults, repair plant equipment and deploy improvements across NC machinery, ABB robots and Siemens PLC systems.

You will collaborate with production teams, use your A Grade Electrical Licence and Certificate III in Electrotechnology to service a high-tech environment and drive reliability and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• A Grade Electrical Licence is required.
• Certificate III in Electrotechnology Systems or equivalent.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with NC machinery and industrial plant and equipment.
• Robotics and PLC automation background.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Strong customer service ethic and ability to work with internal stakeholders.
• Initiative to identify problems and implement practical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Identify faults and perform repairs on plant equipment.
• Carry out repairs and implement improvements across manufacturing and production equipment.
• Work across NC machinery, ABB robots and Siemens PLC systems using relevant software.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and production teams to minimise downtime.

We are a market leader in the supply of advanced heating and cooling, hot water and lifestyle products to both the Australian domestic and commercial markets.

We are currently seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to help maintain the efficient and reliable operation of our plant and equipment.
In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for identifying faults, carrying out repairs and implementing improvements across a range of manufacturing and production equipment. This includes Numerical Control (NC) machinery, ABB robots and Siemens PLC systems using TIA Portal and S7 Professional.
