Job summary

SA Water is seeking an Electrical Supervisor based at the South Para Workshop. You will lead a team of electrical tradespeople delivering maintenance across water and wastewater assets in South Australia, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance and high service standards.

You will coach and develop staff, champion continuous improvement, manage capital delivery works, and foster a collaborative, safety‑focused team culture that aligns with SA Water’s values.

Qualifications

• Qualifications in electrical or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading maintenance execution teams.
• Understanding of work strategy, planning, scheduling and execution.
• Experience leading teams with focus on culture development.
• Extensive experience in safety and risk management.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience in water/wastewater operation and project delivery.
• Hold a valid driver’s license.

• Lead and manage the maintenance team to achieve goals.
• Drive safety leadership and WHS compliance.
• Deliver high-quality maintenance and capital projects within budget, scope, and timelines.
• Demonstrate safety leadership and ensure wellbeing of team members.
• Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Promote innovation and continuous improvement in maintenance practices.
• Ensure all works meet technical, regulatory, compliance and customer requirements.
