Job summary

Fraser Coast Regional Council in Hervey Bay is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to lead our Electrical Maintenance team within Water & Waste Services, coordinating maintenance of water and wastewater infrastructure to ensure safe, reliable operation of treatment plants, pump stations and assets.

You will supervise tradespeople and apprentices, provide technical leadership, coordinate maintenance activities and drive continuous improvement initiatives that support asset

Qualifications

• Electrical trade qualification and licence required.
• Experience maintaining water and sewerage treatment plants.
• Strong knowledge of PLC/SCADA and telemetry systems.
• Budgeting and asset management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise electrical maintenance team including apprentices.
• Coordinate planned, reactive and minor capital works.
• Allocate resources and prioritise workloads.
• Maintain work orders and asset records.
• Support budget management and capital works planning.
• Drive continuous improvement of maintenance programs.
