Job summary

Betta Home Living is seeking a delivery professional to safely transport electrical goods to customers, assist with installation, and provide friendly customer service. You\'ll support in-store and over the phone as needed, helping customers choose products and ensuring satisfaction with delivery and setup.

The role involves loading/unloading large items, maintaining the vehicle, and working in a fast-paced retail environment while upholding safety standards and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• Reliable, punctual and well presented.
• Physically fit and comfortable with regular lifting and manual handling.
• Confident and professional when dealing with customers face-to-face.
• Friendly, approachable and customer-focused.
• Able to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Practical, hands-on and willing to learn.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
• A safe and responsible driver with a current driver\'s licence.
• Experienced in delivery, electrical goods, installation, retail or sales (preferred but not essential).

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver electrical goods and other products to customers.
• Load and unload appliances, including fridges, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers and other large items.
• Safely handle heavy and bulky goods using appropriate manual-handling techniques.
• Deliver, position and assist with the installation and setup of electrical goods at customer premises.
• Provide friendly, professional customer service and represent the business positively.
• Explain basic product operation and ensure customers are satisfied with their delivery and installation.
• Assist customers with product selection and provide basic product and sales advice.
• Assist with general sales and day-to-day business operations.
• Maintain the delivery vehicle and ensure it is kept clean, safe and presentable.
• Complete delivery and electrical manifests accurately.
