Job summary

SKS Technologies in Sydney is seeking an experienced Leading Hand / Foreman to supervise electrical trades on major commercial projects. You will lead apprentices and subcontractors, read drawings and coordinate site activities to keep projects on schedule.

This hands-on role requires NSW electrical licence, strong leadership, safety focus and excellent communication. You will mentor team members and work closely with project managers to deliver quality outcomes for our clients.

Qualifications

• Must have NSW electrical licence.
• Experience leading electrical teams on commercial projects.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specs.
• Strong communication and people-management skills.
• Commitment to safety, quality and on-time delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate electrical trades, apprentices and subcontractors on site.
• Oversee daily site activities to align with schedules and specifications.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, plans and technical documentation.
• Coordinate labour, materials, equipment and site resources.
• Monitor workmanship, productivity and installation quality.
• Ensure compliance with WHS requirements, electrical standards and site procedures.
• Work with project managers, site supervisors and other trades.
• Identify and resolve site issues while maintaining progress.
• Mentor team members and promote a safety-focused culture.
