Star Group is seeking an Electrical Estimator to own regional tenders for the Canberra branch and to negotiate the right price for successful project delivery.

You will bring accuracy and commercial judgement across Electrical Construction, Industrial, Fitout and Communications disciplines, ensuring estimates align with tender documents and standards under tight deadlines.

Competenze

• Electrical trade qualification (essential)
• 5+ years in a qualified electrical trade role in construction (preferred)
• 5+ years estimating experience in electrical construction/industrial (essential)
• Confident in estimating software
• Strong stakeholder communication, internal and external
• Sustained accuracy and attention to detail under deadline pressure
• Proven bid and tender process experience
• Value-engineering mindset to price smarter

Regional Projects | Canberra Branch | Tier 1 Electrical Contractor

Star Group is growing its Canberra branch, and we need an Electrical Estimator who takes ownership of our regional tenders and negotiates the right price for the success of our projects.

You’​ll bring accuracy and commercial judgement to every bid, working across the diverse project types Star Group specialises in. It is a deadline-driven role that requires close attention to detail and accuracy to ensure that all project elements are estimated in accordance with standards, project specifications, and tender documentation.
