Job summary

Terra Verde is seeking a Graduate Engineer (Electrical) to join the construction team working on a major Melbourne infrastructure program. You will report to the Project Engineer (Electrical) and gain hands-on experience delivering tasks on site while ensuring safety, quality and environmental standards.

Responsibilities include supporting temporary works design, collaborating with maintenance engineers and foremen, and contributing to risk assessments, constructability reviews, and final design

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Team-oriented with collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Deliver assigned tasks in line with project requirements, ensuring quality, safety, and environmental standards are met.
• Support the design and approval process for temporary works.
• Collaborate with maintenance engineers, supervisors, and foremen to improve procedures and equipment performance.
• Prepare controls required by SEP, TRA, and ITP.
• Perform data analysis and routine engineering tasks; assist in complex technical assignments.
• Review and interpret design plans, contributing to constructability reviews and final designs.
• Assist in procurement of materials and services per project specifications.
• Identify, report, and support resolution of non-conformances.
• Develop strong working relationships with stakeholders and support a proactive safety culture.
• Ensure compliance with legislative, commercial, and contractual obligations.
