Aurecon Group in Australia seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer, Secondary Systems within the Transmission & Distribution team. You will design and deliver substation secondary systems up to 500kV, leading projects and mentoring junior engineers while collaborating with civil and primary electrical teams.

You will drive quality, safety, and performance across diverse projects for regional clients, contributing to business growth and sustainable infrastructure.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (required).
• Experience in High Voltage Secondary Substation design and project delivery.
• Proven ability to serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients.
• Demonstrated capability in managing and providing technical leadership to design teams.
• Strong track record in managing design projects in compliance with quality management systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

As our new Senior Electrical Engineer, Secondary Systems within our Transmission & Distribution team - you'll be a vital part of the broader Energy team who are changing the way we design and deliver major works to be carbon neutral and sustainable. You will be focusing on substation projects, you will play a crucial role in designing and delivering high-quality solutions for our clients. Your expertise will contribute to the successful planning, design, and execution of substation infrastructure, ensuring safety, reliability, and efficiency.

Your Role will include:

• Design and deliver advanced Substation Secondary systems for distribution and transmission networks (upto 500kV).

As well as experience in a similar electrical engineering role previously. You would require:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (required).
• Experience in High Voltage Secondary Substation design and project delivery (highly desirable is previous experience with Transgrid projects).
• Proven ability to serve as a trusted technical advisor to clients.
• Demonstrated capability in managing and providing technical leadership to design teams, including Global Delivery Centres.
• Strong track record in managing design projects in compliance with quality management systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
