SEA5014PH1 is a Capability Assurance Program (CAP) to support extending Navys ANZAC Class Frigates (FFH) beyond their current Planned Withdrawal Dates (PWDs) to meet the Initial Operating Readiness (IOR) of the Hunter Class Frigates (FFGs).
The project will supplement frigate sustainment funding (CN02) to enable Navys eight Anzac Class Frigates to maintain their combat/platform capability and assure Defences Major Surface Combatant capability until the FFH class is fully replaced by the Hunter Class Frigate (FFG) program in CY2043.
