Job summary

Colliers Engineering and Design in Australia is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Electrical and Lighting team. You will thrive in a collaborative environment, communicate effectively, and grow your technical capabilities.

With 3+ years in electrical reticulation design or drafting across land development, government, or infrastructure projects, you will work under senior staff, prepare AutoCAD designs, and contribute to design reports while maintaining quality and schedules.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years of electrical reticulation design or drafting experience, preferably in land development, Local Government, DIT or related sectors.
• Experience with AutoCAD and AGI32 software (training provided).
• Experience with AS/NZS 3000, 3008, 1158.
• Strong communication, teamwork and eagerness to learn from senior staff.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical and lighting solutions in alignment with relevant standards across diverse projects.
• Prepare design inputs for drafting and update designs in AutoCAD.
• Produce design reports for electrical and lighting designs.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders during project delivery.
• Maintain documentation and assist in project meetings and reviews.
