Gilmour Space Technologies is seeking an Electrical Engineer I to join our team in Queensland. You will contribute to hardware product development, participate in engineering design, and help ensure successful integration and verification of electrical systems for space hardware.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. NV1 clearance is preferred; knowledge of LabVIEW, SCADA, PLCs, and embedded programming is

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a relevant qualification.
• Ability to operate in dynamic, fast paced environments.
• NV1 Security Clearance eligible preferred.

Responsabilités

• Contribute as part of a team of Electrical Engineers to deliver hardware products.
• Participate in the development of Electrical Engineering designs, processes and activities.
• Act as a Responsible Engineer for hardware and/or software produced by the Electrical Engineering team.
• Adhere to product development processes including requirements definition, design, review, procure/manufacture, assembly, integration and verification/validation.
• Conduct technical analysis, trade studies, design and sizing of solutions.
• Support investigations, troubleshooting, modifications and fixes/repairs.
• Support execution of R&D activities.
• Engage with external suppliers, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Ensure engineering activities and documentation follow company policies and procedures.
• Other duties as requested by Management.
