Job summary

Stantec in Perth is seeking an Electrical Engineer (Buildings) to join the Buildings team on a full-time basis. You will deliver electrical design across diverse building projects and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to ensure thorough review and timely delivery.

The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering with 3–5 years consulting experience in building services, and will demonstrate strong communication and client relationship skills while managing

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 3–5 years' experience in a Consulting environment within Building services.
• Strong client relationships and communication skills.
• Willingness to manage multiple projects and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide Electrical designs for a range of building projects, including reports, studies, design calculations, mark-up’s, drawings and specifications
• Responsible for planning and managing projects
• Design of lighting, LV power systems, lightning protection using industry standard software such as PowerCAD, AGI/Dialux
• Represent Stantec externally to Clients, playing an active role in managing these relationships.
• Liaise with authorities and contractors
