Thiess in Australia is seeking an experienced Electrical EEM Superintendent to join the Maintenance Leadership Team at a Thiess site in the Bowen Basin. You will fulfill the responsibilities of EEM under Queensland coal mining legislation, providing technical leadership and governance across all electrical activities onsite.

Qualifications

• Electrical Trade qualification with Queensland Electrical Licence.
• Qualifications and experience to meet statutory EEM requirements in QLD coal mining.
• Extensive experience in mining electrical maintenance and engineering environments.
• Strong knowledge of electrical engineering governance, risk management, and compliance.
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing site-based teams.
• Proven ability to influence, engage stakeholders, and lead high-performing teams.
• Experience with maintenance systems (e.g. JDE) and financial/budget management.
