Job summary

Evoenergy is seeking a dedicated Lineworker to construct, maintain and repair the ACT's electricity network across Canberra and surrounding regions. You will work hands-on in the field, focusing on safety, quality and reliable service while supporting fault response and planned works.

The role emphasizes teamwork, practical problem solving and pride in doing work that matters for the community as the ACT moves toward a net zero future.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in ESI - Distribution Overhead (Lineworker) required.
• Current ACT MR licence or equivalent.
• High Risk licence EWP required.
• Previous field experience in construction/maintenance of network infrastructure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Construct, maintain and repair ACT electricity network.
• Operate safely with focus on safety, quality, service delivery and customer outcomes.
• Work as part of a skilled crew in field-based environments.
• Support fault response and planned works to keep power flowing.

About the role

As a Lineworker at Evoenergy, you'll play a hands-on role in the construction, maintenance and repair of the ACT's electricity network. From planned works to fault response, you'll help keep power flowing safely and reliably to homes, businesses and essential services across the community, with a strong focus on safety, quality, service delivery, cost and customer outcomes.

Working as part of a skilled and supportive crew, you'll bring technical capability, sound judgement and a strong commitment to positive safety behaviours every day. It's a role for someone who takes pride in doing the job right, thrives in the field and wants to be part of an industry that is evolving as the ACT moves toward a net zero future.

About you

• Certificate III in ESI - Distribution Overhead (Lineworker).
• Hold a current ACT motor vehicle licence (MR) or its acceptable equivalent.
• High Risk licence EWP
• Previous successful work in field on construction and/or maintenance of network infrastructure
