Job summary

Whitehaven Coal is seeking a CHPP Electrical Coordinator to support Narrabri Coal Operations by coordinating the CHPP Electrical function, managing budget availability and maintaining management systems and plans. The role reports to the CHPP Superintendent within the CHPP Management Team.

You will develop electrical work scopes for shutdowns, maintain change management, and ensure compliance across scheduled maintenance to support safe, efficient plant performance at Narrabri.

Qualifications

• Electrical Trade Qualification (Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician or equivalent) essential.
• Process plant maintenance experience desirable.
• Strong commitment to safety and a continuous improvement culture.
• Genuine passion to live by the Whitehaven STRIVE values and contribute to a collaborative culture.
• Experience in the Mining industry desirable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare plans for the completion of Electrical tasks to maintain compliance of CHPP Electrical scheduled work orders.
• Maintain NCO change management and site policies.
• Maintain an equipment lifecycle program for maintenance, spare parts and tooling to maintain budget and tonnes.
• Participate in monthly cost reviews with CHPP Superintendent and management to monitor spending and keep costs within budget.
• Provide input into electrical engineering for work scopes for shutdowns, overhauls and equipment purchases.
