Job summary

Intellect Systems invites applications for FIFO Electrical and Instrumentation Commissioning Technicians in Western Australia. Roles involve commissioning equipment and packages across site projects, with 12+ months of commissioning experience in mining or heavy industry.

A WA Electrical Licence (unrestricted) and safety certifications are required; D&A screening and medical clearance may be requested. Roster 8:6 or 2:1, 12‑hour shifts, Perth‑based site access, and travel time/expenses are

Qualifications

WA Electrical License (unrestricted)
12 Months+ Commissioning experience (Mining, Oil & Gas or Heavy Industry)
Ability to read electrical drawings, P&ID’s and loop drawings
Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
Current WA Driver's Licence (C Class)
D&A Screening and Pre-Employment Medical clearance desirable
LVR/CPR certification preferred
White Card (Construction) WA

Responsibilities

Completion of ITRs across the commissioning lifecycle through to hand over
Marking Up Drawings (Redline/Blueline)
Perform loop checks, calibration and verification of field instrumentation
Conduct function testing of motors, switchgear, MCCs, valves, transmitters, PLCs and SCADA systems
Conduct fault-finding and rectification works
Maintain safety compliance with OHSE policies and procedures
