Progress Rail in Australia is offering an 2027 intake for an Electrical Apprenticeship. You will complete formal studies at TAFE and gain hands-on training under skilled tradespeople to maintain, repair and support a fleet of locomotives.

Develop your fault analysis, maintenance, fleet performance and technical support skills, with a certificate upon completion and a long-term career path with a globally recognised company. Preference given to candidates committed to safety and growth.

Qualifications

• Year 12 School Certificate (or equivalent) required.
• Prevocational Certificate II in Electrotechnology looked upon favourably.
• Commitment to safety and full apprenticeship program.

Responsibilities

• Complete formal studies at TAFE.
• Gain practical, hands-on training with skilled tradespeople.
• Learn to maintain, repair and provide technical support for locomotives.
