Job summary

GC Electrical and Air Conditioning in Dandenong, Victoria, seeks a motivated 2nd–4th Year Electrical Apprentice to join our growing team. You will gain hands-on experience across installations, maintenance, fault finding and real estate work, with a supportive environment and ongoing skill development.

The role offers exposure to residential, commercial and industrial projects, with mentoring from experienced A-Grade electricians and opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a 2nd–4th Year Electrical Apprenticeship in VIC.
• Hold a current Victorian Driver's Licence.
• Be reliable, punctual and have a strong work ethic.
• Good communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist qualified electricians with electrical installations, maintenance, fault finding and repairs.
• Assist with testing, commissioning and troubleshooting electrical systems.
• Follow safe work practices and company procedures.
• Maintain tools, equipment and work vehicles in a clean and organised condition.
• Complete job notes using our cloud-based job management system.
• Develop trade skills while working safely across residential, commercial and industrial projects.
