Job summary

We Wire Electrical Pty Ltd in Melbourne is seeking an enthusiastic electrical apprentice to join a small, family-style team. You’ll gain hands-on learning across split-system air conditioning, battery storage, solar PV, and general electrical work while avoiding repetitive tasks.

Currently a 1st or 2nd Year Electrical Apprentice, you will develop skills on varied Melbourne projects, with above-award pay rates and regular overtime, supported by experienced tradespeople who value safety and pride

Qualifications

• Currently a 1st or 2nd Year Electrical Apprentice.
• Victorian driver's licence and reliable transport
• Construction White Card
• Reliable, hardworking and willing to learn
• Takes pride in their work and presentation
• Friendly, respectful and works well within a small team
• Comfortable with physical work, ladders and working at heights

We Wire Electrical is a small, growing Melbourne electrical business with a friendly, family-style team environment. This role offers hands-on learning across multiple specialised fields in some of the fastest-growing areas of the electrical industry, including split-system air conditioning, battery storage, solar PV, and general electrical work. You'll work on varied jobs across Melbourne rather than repetitive work, gaining diverse skills and the opportunity to work towards becoming dual-trade qualified in Electrical and Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.

Key responsibilities

Split-system air conditioning installation and maintenance

Battery storage installation across variety of brands

General electrical work including switchboards, wiring, fault finding and residential work

Work on varied jobs across Melbourne
