Job summary

Pilbara Minerals Limited is seeking an experienced electrical maintenance professional for its Pilgangoora operation. The role supports a multi-discipline maintenance crew, focusing on fixed plant electrical and instrumentation to secure safe, reliable production. FIFO roster from Perth with an 8/6 pattern.

Applicants should hold WA A-grade electrical licence, instrumentation certs, and a valid HV ticket, with site access and safety at the forefront of daily duties.

Qualifications

• WA A-grade electrical licence and essential tickets required.
• Fixed processing plant maintenance experience is essential.
• Current site medical and police clearance may be required.
• PRONTO experience and MS Office skills are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily electrical and instrumentation maintenance to the plan.
• Ensure work is performed and recorded per regulations and PRONTO.
• Assist with electrical isolations and permit processes when needed.
• Troubleshoot electrical components and control systems, gather evidence.
• Conduct mechanical checks on electrical equipment (track in/out).
• Complete work orders with high quality and proper spare parts allocation.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and report hazards.
• Provide feedback for continuous improvement to supervisors.

The Opportunity:

Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, this role will be part of an established maintenance crew of various disciplines and is responsible for maintaining fixed plant electrical and instrument equipment in line with standard work procedures to ensure the safe and reliable production of all fixed plant equipment.

This is a permanent full-time role at our Pilgangoora, Ngungaju Plant Operation, which operates on an 8/6, 8/6, 7/7 FIFO roster from Perth.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Complete daily electrical and instrumentation maintenance activities to achieve the maintenance plan as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Ensure all electrical work is completed and recorded in line with statutory regulations and requirements.
• Assist with electrical isolations and permitting when required.
• Trouble shoot electrical components and control systems to determine causes of failures including gathering of failure evidence for further analysis.
• Mechanical checks on electrical equipment (track in/out, interlocking etc.).
• Ensure all work orders are completed to a consistent high quality in PRONTO.
• Ensure parts are appropriately allocated as per work order instructions.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Provide feedback to supervisors on any business improvement opportunities and ideas.
• Take a proactive approach to safety including identifying and reporting safety hazards and adhering to the Life Saving Rules.

About You:

• WA 'A' Grade Electrical licence, Cert IV Electrical Instrumentation & High Voltage switching ticket (Essential)
• Working at Heights and Confined Space (Essential)
• Current WA Driver's licence.
• Current EWP ticket, as well as CPR & LV Rescue.
• Previous fixed processing plant experience essential.
• Show a high level of attention to detail, quality, and commitment for continuous improvement.
• A team player with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
• PRONTO experience and MS Office skills highly regarded.
• Willingness to undertake a full site medical and provide a current National Police Clearance.
