Melbourne Battery Chargers is seeking an Electrical/Electronics Service Technician for our Melbourne workshop. The role involves servicing and repairing electrical equipment, power supplies, battery chargers, traction batteries and material handling equipment.

The position starts as casual with progression to full-time for the right candidate, with on-site service possible. You will write detailed job cards, follow safety protocols and work with hand tools to diagnose faults and perform reworks.

Formación

• Experience in service/repair of electrical/electronic equipment, power supplies, battery chargers, traction batteries and material handling equipment.
• Ability to complete detailed job cards and reports.
• Strong focus on safety and accuracy in diagnostics and repairs.

Responsabilidades

• Service and repair electrical/electronic equipment and battery chargers in workshop.
• Occasional on-site service and repairs as needed.
• Prepare detailed job cards and reports; maintain safety standards.

To be a part of our fast growing business based in Melbourne, ideally candidates would have prior experience in the service and repair of electrical/electronic equipment, power supply, battery chargers, traction batteries andmaterial handling equipment.

We are looking for a Technicianto start ascasualleading to a full time position to the right candidate.

Workshop based roll with the possibilities of some on site service and repairs

To be successful for this role you will require the following.

• Punctualand realible


• Able to write out reports and complete detailed job cards


• Attention to detail, observant and strong focus on safety


• Electrical/electronics sound aptitude


• Competent soldering skills PCB surface mount


• Circuit diagnosis and re work


• Excellent problem solving and fault finding diagnostic skills


• Mechanical aptitude


• General use of hand tools and equipment


• Demonstrated organisational skills and ability to work unsupervised

• Disconnect Reconnect electrical licence (desirable)
