Job summary

Uniting Home Care is seeking a dedicated part-time Home Care Worker to support elderly clients in the Central Coast area. The role is permanent and Monday–Friday, with pay rates of $36.23–$37.68 per hour plus 99c per km and travel time.

You will help with in-home tasks, transportation, personal care and medication administration, promoting independence and quality of life for clients in their own homes. A National Police Check and worker checks are required.

Qualifications

• Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support, or equivalent qualification.
• Medication Competency Certificate
• Previous experience in aged or community care is preferred, or a strong desire to begin a career in aged care.

Responsibilities

• Help at home: Assist with housekeeping, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.
• Transport for wellbeing: Escort clients to appointments, shopping trips, and social activities.
• Personal Care: Support with personal hygiene, showering, dressing, meal assistance, and medication administration.
