Job summary

Geelong Grammar School is seeking an Early Childhood Co-Educator to join the ELC team. You will create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for children, plan and implement the curriculum in collaboration with colleagues, and ensure daily supervision and safety, including administering First Aid where required.

The role requires an ACECQA approved Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education, a Victorian WWC Check, and current First Aid and Anaphylaxis qualifications.

Qualifications

• ACEQA approved Diploma or Bachelor in Early Childhood Education.
• Current Victorian WWC Check and National Police Check or VIT registration.
• First Aid qualifications and Anaphylaxis Management Accreditation are required.
• Knowledge of EYLF and Reggio Emilia principles is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a team and create an engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide a nurturing, interesting and stimulating learning environment for all children.
• Plan with the ELC team to implement the ELC Curriculum and pursue ongoing professional development.
• Assist with daily programme supervision and ensure health and safety, including First Aid when needed.
• Set up and pack away equipment, observe and share observations with teaching colleagues, maintain documents daily.
• Work cooperatively with the ELC team, maintain confidentiality and contribute to school life.
