Job description

Are you passionate about designing impactful learning experiences that build workforce capability and support a culture of continuous improvement? We're seeking a skilled Training Package Design Lead to drive the development of strategic training programs that empower staff and enhance organisational performance.

About the Role

As the Assistant Director - Training Package Design, you'll lead the end-to-end design and refinement of training packages. You'll collaborate with internal teams and external providers to ensure learning materials are practical, engaging, and aligned with organisational goals.

This role offers the opportunity to shape learning experiences that promote psychological safety, innovation, and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design of training packages including objectives, content, delivery methods, and evaluation tools.
  • Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
  • Develop facilitator guides, participant resources, eLearning modules, and induction content.
  • Collaborate with HR, L&D, and operational teams to align training with strategic goals.
  • Trial, evaluate, and refine training packages for continuous improvement.
  • Promote wellbeing and inclusive practices through thoughtful training design.
  • Manage vendor relationships and coordinate external training procurement.
  • Represent the organisation at forums advocating for workforce development.

You're an experienced instructional designer who thrives in collaborative environments and has a passion for creating meaningful learning experiences.
