Talent Corp in Australia is seeking an EL1 Data Modeller to lead enterprise data modeling initiatives, shape data architecture, and collaborate with key stakeholders in a data-driven organization.

You will design conceptual, logical and physical data models for EDW core and access layers, manage data dictionaries, and develop SQL analytics and ETL code while driving best practices across teams.

Qualifications

• Experience auditing and reviewing code across data warehouses (e.g. MS SQL, Teradata, Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks).
• Understanding DevOps processes and using DevOps tools accordingly.
• Strong programming skills; Python, SAS, R or Java are a plus.
• Knowledge of version control and its proper use.
• Proficient SQL with ability to reverse-engineer end-user SQL.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise data modeling across conceptual, logical, and physical layers for EDW core and access layers.
• Manage data dictionary activities and set standards for peer review and data modeling release.
• Develop, review, and maintain SQL analytics and ETL code, ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Collaborate with data consumers, developers, and IT teams to deliver data solutions.
• Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives, providing training and knowledge transfer on best practices.
• Assist in developing consumable reports and analytics to address risks and emerging trends.
