A government agency for disability services seeks an Assistant Director for its Business Application Support team. The role involves leading a specialist ICT team, managing the Software development lifecycle, and engaging stakeholders. Ideal candidates will have experience with Agile methodologies and the Salesforce platform. Must be an Australian citizen and able to obtain a Baseline security clearance. This is a contracting role starting January 2024 with potential extensions.

The National Disability Insurance Agency, Office of the CIO (NDIA OCIO) is undertaking major work programs to deliver innovative fit-for-need ICT-based solutions to improve the National Disability Insurance Scheme.
The NDIA requires the services of an Assistant Director for the Business Application Support team. The candidate will support the Director and lead the team in undertaking the operational activities for the agencys Salesforce platform. The candidate will also be required to undertake a level of support and operational activities for other business and integrated applications.
The duties of the role include, but are not limited to:
Entry Level checks will be required for all successful candidates. Must be an Australian Citizen and either hold or be willing to obtain a Baseline security clearance.

1. Demonstrated experience leading and managing an ICT support team, delivering support for complex business applications/systems.
2. Demonstrated experience managing the Software development lifecycle.
3. Demonstrated experience using Agile methodology to run and manage team sprints.
4. Demonstrated experience managing both business and technical stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
5. Experience with Salesforce platform.
6. Exceptional problem-solving skills, and the ability to apply deductive reasoning, consider the bigger picture, architecture, and stakeholder impacts.
1. Able to remove blockers and clear paths forward for your team members, driving actions through to completion to achieve required outcomes.
2. Have a flair for data analysis and system monitoring, and strong process development and documentation skills.
3. Ability to balance technical dependencies and business requirements.
4. Comfortable with new ways of thinking about accessibility and enthusiastic about accessible design & development will be highly regarded.
