Job summary

Coogee Chemicals in Western Australia invites an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Manager to support the Engineering Services Manager in delivering EI&C project outcomes across sites. You’ll lead a multidisciplinary team of seven EI&C professionals, providing technical oversight while ensuring safe, compliant delivery within scope, schedule and budget.

Qualifications

Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
10+ years' experience as Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer in chemicals/resources/manufacturing.
Ability to lead a multidisciplinary EI&C team.
Proven project management skills delivering complex engineering projects.
Strong knowledge of electrical, instrumentation and control systems.
Familiarity with Australian and international EI&C standards.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

Lead the team of EI&C professionals to successfully deliver the EI&C aspects of site projects.
Develop project plans, manage budgets and ensure project deliverables are met on time and to a high standard.
Liaise with stakeholders, contractors and internal teams to coordinate project activities.
Prepare technical documentation, specifications, drawings and reports.
Provide technical support and problem-solving during project execution.
Ensure projects adhere to all relevant regulations, standards and safety requirements.
