Job summary

Coogee Chemicals is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer to support the Engineering Services Manager in delivering EI&C project outcomes. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of EI&C professionals, oversee design reviews, and ensure safe, compliant and high-quality project delivery within scope, schedule and budget.

The role involves hands-on engineering support, problem-solving, and driving improvements across standards and processes to optimize project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering preferred; Light Current qualification considered if capable with E&I experience
• Minimum 10 years' experience as an Electrical Engineer with substantial instrumentation experience
• Ability to lead a multidisciplinary EI&C team
• Strong technical knowledge of electrical, instrumentation and control systems
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Familiarity with Australian and International electrical and instrumentation standards
• Strong communication skills (numeric, written and verbal)

Responsibilities

• Lead the EI&C team to deliver the EI&C aspects of site projects
• Develop project plans, manage budgets and ensure deliverables meet time and quality targets
• Liaise with stakeholders, contractors and internal teams to coordinate project activities
• Prepare technical documentation, specifications, drawings and reports
• Provide technical support and problem-solving during project execution
• Ensure projects adhere to relevant regulations, standards and safety requirements
