Qualifications

• Proven successful experience in project management (medium-sized projects).
• Developed communication, presentation and project planning and development skills.
• Developed budgetary oversight expertise.
• Advanced proficiency in communicating, coordinating activities and collaborating with stakeholders.
• Proven understanding of project management methodologies and practices.
• Display strong communication and negotiation skills to support the client/customer focus.
• Proactively manage internal budgets and fees, delivering agreed outcomes.
• Proven competency that understands construction methodologies and sequencing.
• Developed bidding skills.
• Substantial previous experience in a project management role on medium sized or complex projects, or leading smaller projects.
• Experience in the construction delivery phase of projects.
• MCIOB/MAPM/MRICS/MICE or local equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety first and uphold HSE frameworks across staff and projects.
• Possess technical expertise in local health and safety rules relevant to the portfolio.
• Promote a diverse and inclusive working environment and wellbeing of the team.
• Ensure robust quality systems are in place and managed for service excellence.
• Manage delivery from inception to construction in line with milestones.
• Oversee tasks and deliverables with senior leaders to ensure timely delivery.
• Manage project budgets and highlight risks and mitigations.
• Support long-term development of the function/BU for a sustainable future.
• Hold others to account for upholding Mace values.
• Direct and manage design and consultant teams for effective completion of responsibilities.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to achieve KPI targets and project success.
• Network and apply best practices using Mace’s knowledge hubs and centres of excellence.
