Job summary

Northrop Grumman Australia is seeking a seasoned EHS Lead for ACT & NSW to drive safe, healthy and sustainable workplaces. Based in Fairbairn, you will lead a small EHS team, influence risk management, and partner with leaders to embed the EHS strategy across sites.

This hands-on role requires a Diploma in WHS, 5+ years in relevant sectors, and certifications in ISO lead audits and incident investigation. Willingness to travel to Symonston weekly and other ACT/NSW sites is essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in WHS or equivalent required.
• 5+ years’ health and safety experience in relevant industries.
• Experience with risk management, incident investigations and wellbeing programs.
• Lead Auditor certification in ISO 45001/14001/9001 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a small EHS team.
• Identify hazards and manage risks across sites.
• Lead investigations, audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Interpret WHS and environmental requirements and drive implementation.
• Develop health and wellbeing initiatives and return-to-work activities.
• Engage stakeholders and build strong relationships with authorities.
