Job summary

Ventora is a leading Australasian building products group seeking an experienced EHS Business Partner to support its Rowville and Bayswater operations and drive a proactive safety culture across the business.

Reporting into the EHS function, you will implement national EHS strategy, provide guidance on safety, compliance, risk and return-to-work activities, and partner with operational leaders to embed best practices across sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a safety role within manufacturing or a similarly complex environment.
• Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety.
• Strong understanding of WHS legislation and compliance requirements.
• Experience influencing stakeholders and driving behavioural change.
• Excellent investigation, risk management and problem-solving skills.
• Experience analysing and reporting WHS performance data.
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment.

Responsibilities

• Drive EHS objectives and initiatives across Rowville and Bayswater sites.
• Support managers with hazard identification, risk assessments and compliance requirements.
• Monitor, report and follow up on EHS action plans and metrics.
• Lead or support incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Conduct regular workplace inspections and behavioural safety observations.
• Prepare safety reports and contribute to OHS Committee meetings.
• Coordinate Return to Work activities and injury management processes.
• Champion a strong safety culture through coaching and engagement.

We're seeking an experienced EHS Business Partner to support our Rowville and Bayswater operations and help drive a proactive, positive safety culture across the business.

About the Role

Reporting into the EHS function, you'll partner with operational leaders to implement VENTORA's national EHS strategy while providing expert guidance across safety, compliance, risk management and return-to-work activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Champion a strong safety culture through coaching, engagement and influence

About You

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a safety role within manufacturing or a similarly complex environment
• Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety
