Job description

Job Skills Network helps organisations build the right team in regional locations through a personalised Recruitment Partnership with our experienced specialists, or an advertising campaign on our online job boards.

Our mission is to build and strengthen regional communities, and our vision is to inspire Even Better Living!

Our team consists of experienced and seasoned Recruiters who specialise in regional and remote areas, focusing on working with organisations that want to secure top talent.

We assist businesses and not-for-profit organisations in recruiting and retaining high-calibre candidates for "hard-to-fill" roles across various sectors including Professional Services, Construction, Civil, Engineering, Manufacturing, Land Management, Social Impact, and Not-for-profit organisations.

Our primary sector focus in the Northern Territory is Land Management.

We offer "fee-for-service" permanent and contract recruitment, including Managed Recruitment, where our candidates become employees of our clients. We are not a labour hire business.

The Opportunity

You will join our Recruitment Partnership team, focused on sourcing experienced, qualified candidates for roles with local NT businesses and not-for-profit organisations.

We partner with high-quality, growing employers across the NT. Your approach will be highly consultative and advice-focused, aiming for win/win outcomes for our candidates and clients. The market is busy, and the outlook is strong, so we are looking for the right person to join our successful, growing team for the long-term.

If you enjoy working independently with the support of experienced management, a great culture, and a strong brand, this could be the opportunity for you!

The role is full-time, 38 hours per week, and based in Nightcliff.

Your Skills and Experience

You enjoy talking to people and have an outgoing personality. You're proactive, comfortable making calls, meeting face-to-face, and have experience in a people-focused industry. You are tech-savvy, able to use hardware and software, and can apply logic and use databases to conduct searches, organise, and record information accurately.

Ideally, you will have a passion for human resources and an interest or experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

This role suits a proactive, caring, tech-savvy, and service-focused individual who can build relationships with candidates, understand their needs and goals, and match them with suitable career opportunities.

What's on Offer?

Competitive salary based on experience

A supportive, mature, and fun work culture

Flexible working arrangements

Investment in technology and tools of the trade to maximise efficiency

Equipment provided: Laptop, Tablet, Phone, and advanced recruitment software
