About The Role

Are you an experienced Dental Assistant with a passion for leadership and high-quality patient care? Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) is seeking dedicated Grade 1 Dental Assistants to join our Oral Health Service. In this role, you will provide supervision and direction to ensure exceptional dental assisting services, including patient care, infection control, reception services, and sterilisation. Flexibility with work duties and location is essential, as is a commitment to workplace health, safety, and wellbeing.

We have casual, temporary, and permanent vacancies across Gosford and Wyong. About You

We are looking for a proactive and skilled individual who meets the following criteria:

1. Qualifications: Hold a nationally recognised Dental Assisting Certificate at Certificate Level IV or equivalent, with significant experience in a public oral health environment.
2. Leadership: Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to supervise, motivate, coach, and mentor staff.
3. Independence: Ability to work independently with excellent time management skills.
4. Problem-Solving: Proven high-level problem-solving and prioritisation skills, capable of making clear decisions under pressure.
5. Community Commitment: Understanding of how the District cares for the Coast and how this role contributes to that mission.
