Eurofins Environment Testing Australia is part of our environmental testing network, with fully accredited laboratories in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane, and client service offices in Adelaide, Darwin, Newcastle, and Wollongong. We also provide field sampling services from Melbourne and Sydney, specializing in analysis of contaminated soil, sludge, sediments, water, emissions, air quality, and more.

• This is a full-time position based in Dandenong South, VIC.
• Working hours are Monday to Friday, 8 pm - 4 am.
• An additional 1.5% superannuation contribution is provided on top of the national standard rate.

The Lab Technician (Solid Splitting) is responsible for sub-sampling, weighing, and transferring samples to the preparation laboratory for extraction, as well as assisting with sample receipt.

Key responsibilities include:

1. Using the LIMS priority worklist to determine processing order and printing labels for containers or subsamples.
2. Homogenizing and weighing subsamples, including QA/QC procedures.
3. Transferring subsamples to the appropriate laboratory sections.
4. Assisting with sample disposal.
5. Adhering to the Eurofins Code of Ethics and all relevant policies and procedures.
