NHS Ayrshire & Arran is seeking a part-time Healthcare Assistant to support patients in their rehabilitation journey. The role involves conducting assessments, implementing treatment plans, and utilizing technical skills across various clinical settings. Candidates should hold relevant qualifications and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
The Role
To work under the supervision of registered therapy staff to assist patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals.
Undertake baseline assessments within clearly defined parameters for the identified service.
Implement, adapt, and progress treatment programmes within agreed protocols and defined parameters.
Use specialist technical and practical skills to deliver flexible, patient-centred programmes across various clinical settings.
Discharge or transition care within agreed protocols and defined parameters.
Duties may vary depending on the care group/department or assigned area of work.
