Job summary

St Nicholas Medowie is seeking a motivated individual for a Trainee Early Childhood Educator position to undertake a Certificate III Traineeship. You will assist with daily routines and help implement programs that reflect the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and play-based learning.

Qualifications

As a Trainee Early Childhood Educator at our Medowiecentre, you will undertake a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and whilst on the job, assist with the implementation of daily routines for the children and contribute to the development of programs which reflect theEarly Years Learning Framework(EYLF), play based learning and the planning, implementation, evaluation and reflection of programs which reflect the emerging skills and interests of children.

You will have the ability to evolve in your role and progress within the organisation through a variety of learning and development pathways.

QUALIFICATIONS/CRITERIA

• To undertake the Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care work based Traineeship CHC30113
• Working With Children Check verification number.
• Computer literacy in order to document examples of learning stories.
