Job summary

Department of Education Victoria in Melbourne seeks a Manager, eduSafe Plus to lead the delivery and ongoing development of the department's digital OHS system, eduSafe Plus, and Chemwatch. You will build capability, provide training, and ensure system sustainability while driving data-informed improvements.

You will oversee performance, coordinate with business and technical partners, and guide a multidisciplinary team to deliver enhancements and change.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience leading the delivery and continuous improvement of a complex service or business function.
• Strong people leadership and stakeholder management skills across business and technical areas.
• Sophisticated understanding of digital systems and ability to lead a multidisciplinary team of technical specialists.
• Experience using data, monitoring and evaluation to drive performance and improvement.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience supporting digital systems in government, education or similarly complex environments.
• Familiarity with OHS in government settings, preferably within education.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a multidisciplinary team delivering eduSafe Plus.
• Oversee service delivery, performance and sustainability of eduSafe Plus and related digital systems.
• Lead data analytics, monitoring and evaluation to inform improvements.
• Provide high-quality advice and recommendations to senior leaders on system performance and risk.
• Build relationships with schools, regional teams and technical partners to resolve issues.
• Support governance, risk management and business continuity for eduSafe Plus.
