Job summary

The Y Queensland invites energetic Educators to join the Palmview Outside School Hours Care team on a casual basis. You will supervise and engage primary-aged children before school, after school and during holidays, fostering a safe, fun and inclusive environment.

You’ll run hands-on activities, support children’s wellbeing and social learning, and collaborate with families to provide flexible hours between early morning and late afternoon.

Qualifications

• Studying towards a Cert III or Diploma in Children’s Services or similar.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate is required.
• Blue Card or willingness to obtain a Blue Card.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in Before & After School sessions.
• Run or assist with activities during Vacation Care.
• Create a welcoming and inclusive space for all children.
• Promote children’s wellbeing, confidence and friendships through play.

About the role

Are you passionate about promoting children’s wellbeing and confidence? We are currently recruiting energetic and caring Educators to join our YMCA Palmview Outside School Hours Care team on a casual basis.

As an Educator, you’ll help create a safe, fun and inclusive environment for primary-aged children before school, after school and during the school holidays. With a mix of structured and spontaneous play-based activities, you’ll be at the heart of children's social learning and creativity.
