Job summary

YMCA Queensland is recruiting energetic Educators to join the Hilliard Outside School Hours Care team on a casual basis. You’ll help create a safe, fun and inclusive environment for primary-aged children before school, after school and during holidays.

Hold or study towards a Cert III or Diploma in Children's Services, School Age Education and Care or similar; you’ll bring energy, creativity, and a strong sense of responsibility to ensure a safe space for all children.

Qualifications

• Hold or studying towards a Cert III or Diploma in Children's Services, School Age Education and Care or similar.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate.
• A valid Paid Blue Card or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in Before & After School sessions.
• Run or assist with hands-on activities during Vacation Care.
• Create a welcoming and inclusive space where all children feel safe and included.
• Promote children's wellbeing, confidence and friendships through play.

About the role

Are you passionate about promoting children's wellbeing and confidence? We are currently recruiting energetic and caring Educators to join our YMCA Hilliard Outside School Hours Care team on a casual basis.

As an Educator, you’ll help create a safe, fun and inclusive environment for primary-aged children before school, after school and during the school holidays. With a mix of structured and spontaneous play-based activities, you’ll be at the heart of children's social learning and creativity.
