Job summary

The Y Australia Logan Village OSHC team is hiring casual Educators to support before school, after school, and Vacation Care. You’ll help create a safe, fun, and inclusive environment for primary-aged children.

You’ll participate in structured and spontaneous activities, promote wellbeing and confidence, and contribute to a caring, supportive program. If you’re studying toward a Cert III or Diploma and hold a current First Aid/CPR and Blue Card, apply to join our not-for-profit community.

Qualifications

• Hold or be studying towards a Cert III or Diploma in Children’s Services or similar.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificates (or willingness to obtain).
• A valid Paid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in Before & After School sessions.
• Run or assist with a variety of hands-on activities during Vacation Care.
• Create a welcoming and inclusive space where all children feel safe, supported and inspired to grow.
• Promote children’s wellbeing, confidence, and friendships through play.

About the role

Are you passionate about promoting children’s wellbeing and confidence? We are currently recruiting energetic and caring Educators to join our YMCA Logan VillageOutside School Hours Care team on a casual basis.

As an Educator, you’ll help create a safe, fun and inclusive environment for primary-aged children before school, after school and during the school holidays. With a mix of structured and spontaneous play-based activities, you’ll be at the heart of children's social learning and creativity.

What you’ll do
