Job summary

YMCA Churchill Outside School Hours Care is hiring casual Educators to oversee before and after school sessions for primary-aged children and to support Vacation Care activities. The role focuses on creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive space that nurtures wellbeing and confidence.

You will work a mix of early morning and afternoon shifts, fostering play-based learning and positive social interactions within a not-for-profit, community-focused YMCA program.

Qualifications

• Cert III or Diploma in Children’s Services, School Age Education and Care or similar required or studying towards.
• Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)
• A valid Paid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
• A great sense of fun, energy and creativity
• A strong sense of responsibility and commitment to ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all children

About the role

Are you passionate about promoting children’s wellbeing and confidence? We are currently recruiting energetic and caring Educators to join our YMCA Churchill Outside School Hours Care team on a casual basis.

As an Educator, you’ll help create a safe, fun and inclusive environment for primary-aged children before school, after school and during the school holidays. With a mix of structured and spontaneous play-based activities, you’ll be at the heart of children's social learning and creativity.
