Job summary

G8 Education is looking for a casual Assistant Educator at our Melton Early Learning Centre to support qualified peers in delivering high-quality care for children aged 0–5. You will contribute to a nurturing learning environment and uphold centre routines with a collaborative, supportive team.

Ideal candidates hold ACECQA approved Certificate III or Diploma and demonstrate strong communication. A Working with Children Check and First Aid are required; flexible hours align with centre operations.

Qualifications

• ACECQA approved Certificate III or Diploma in Children's Services.
• Understanding of EYLF and NQS.
• Experience with children aged 0–5 years.
• Current Working with Children Check and First Aid Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Create a nurturing, safe learning environment for children 0–5.
• Support daily activities and routines to foster development.

About Us

Our children enjoy delightful indoor and outdoor play areas, rooms equipped with the latest age-appropriate technology and learning resources, and a range of activities.

At capacity our centre caters for up to 90children with operating hours from 6:00am to 6:00pm.

About You

• Hold a minimum ACECQA approved Certificate III or Diploma Qualification in Children’s Services
• An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Proven sector experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A current Working with Children Check
• First Aid certificate
