Job summary

Busy Bees Colac is hiring an Educator (Full-Time) at Colac, VIC. You will support high-quality education and care, create nurturing environments, and help children thrive in a Busy Bees centre.

The role requires a Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, current First Aid/CPR, WWCC VIC, and a passion for child safety and development. You will work in a supportive team and engage with families to deliver excellent learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Commitment to child safety and Busy Bees values.
• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis (or willingness to obtain).
• Current Working with Children Check for VIC.
• Experience as an Educator in Australia is highly regarded.
• Strong communication skills and collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of engaging play-based learning experiences aligned with EYLF.
• Assist in providing a safe, inclusive, welcoming environment for all children.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and team members.
• Support daily routines, activities, and supervision of children.
• Contribute to maintaining high standards aligned with NQS.

Educator (Full-Time) | $30.97 - $38.14 per hour | Colac, VIC

We're seeking a passionate and dedicated Educator to join our team at Busy Bees at Colac, located at 91-97 Pound Road, Colac VIC 3250, on a full-time basis. You will play an important role in supporting the delivery of high-quality education and care, helping to create a nurturing and engaging environment where children thrive.

What you'll do

• Supporting the implementation of engaging play-based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
• Assisting in providing a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all children
• Building positive relationships with children, families, and team members
• Supporting daily routines, activities, and supervision of children
• Contributing to maintaining high standards aligned with the National Quality Standards (NQS)

What you'll bring

• A genuine commitment to child safety, speaking up, always doing the right thing, and alignment with Busy Bees values
• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)
• Current Working with Children Check for VIC
• Experience working as an Educator within Australia is highly regarded
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative team approach
