Job summary

C&K Salisbury Community Childcare is seeking a dedicated Educator to join our team in a play-based learning environment. You’ll work with children, families and partners to support safety, development and discovery.

The role is permanent part-time, with Monday and Tuesday shifts between 7:00am and 6:00pm, offering a competitive hourly rate of $30.06 to $38.14 plus superannuation.

Qualifications

• Hold, or be willing to commence studying, a certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Completion of the National Child Safety Training – Foundation Certificate.
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
• Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
• A Police Check current within three months (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, supportive and engaging play-based learning environment with your team.
• Work with families, schools and community partners to enrich children’s learning journeys.
• Participate in community activities such as Creek Neighbours program and local creek visits.
