Job summary

Parkinson World of Learning in Brisbane is seeking a casual Assistant Educator qualified with Certificate III or Diploma in Children’s Services to join our supportive team. You will be passionate about creating a high-quality learning environment for children aged 0–5 and work within our flexible schedule.

You will contribute to indoor/outdoor activities, adhere to EYLF and NQS, maintain safety and wellbeing, hold a Working with Children Check and First Aid, and collaborate with qualified early

Qualifications

• ACECQA approved Certificate 3 or Diploma in Children’s Services is required.
• Understanding of EYLF and NQS is essential.
• Experience as an Educator in an early childhood service (0–5 years).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; WWCC and First Aid completed.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a nurturing learning environment for children aged 0–5.
• Support indoor and outdoor activities and daily routines.
• Adhere to centre policies, safety procedures and quality standards.

About Us

Our children enjoy delightful indoor and outdoor play areas, rooms equipped with the latest age-appropriate technology and learning resources, and a range of activities.

At capacity our centre caters for up to 75 children with operating hours from 6:30am to 6:00pm.

About You

• You will hold an ACECQA approved Certificate 3 or Diploma Qualification in Children’s Services
• An understanding of both the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Proven Educator experience within an Early childhood service (working with children 0-5 years)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A current Working with Children Check
• First Aid certificate
