Job summary

C&K Association is seeking Educators to join our caring teams across Queensland. You will help create a safe, supportive, and engaging play-based learning environment for children, families, and the wider community.

Your role includes covering sick days, extended leave and lunch breaks and bringing your passion for early childhood education to shape young lives. Eligibility includes relevant childcare qualifications and certifications.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care or higher is required.
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma & Anaphylaxis certification are required or in process.
• Blue Card or Exemption Card is required.
• National Child Safety Training Foundation Certificate is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cover sick days, extended leave and lunch breaks to support daily child care operations.
• Contribute to planning and programming to create a safe, engaging play-based learning environment.
• Work across multiple centres from Cairns to Gold Coast to gain broad experience in Queensland.

You will be playing a crucial role in our centres by covering sick days, programming, extended leave and lunch breaks and will use your skills, ideas and passion for education to help shape the future of children in our care.

• Flexible hours and days, you control your availability

We strongly uphold our child safety policies and procedures. To thrive and succeed in this role, you will have:

• Hold, or a willingness to commence studying, either a certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care, Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood).
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
• Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
• A Police Check current within three months (or willingness to obtain one).
• Completion of the National Child Safety Training – Foundation Certificate
